Our Philosophy

Here at The Forrester Center, our Medication Assisted Treatment program is here to provide the highest quality services that meet your needs. We understand that substance use disorders, particularly opiates and alcohol, present a lot of challenges. We understand that you are an individual with your own needs and wants when it comes to your treatment.

“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.”

James R. Sherman, Author

We also have a lot of experience, and hope you will work with us to build a plan that will work for you. We know that at first, the value of therapy (group or individual) is often not something everyone wants to do. We ask you to trust us as your partner when we refer you to therapy, because our long track record proves over and over again, that it works. Medication alone will work for a time, but working with our clinicians and peer recovery coaches is where the magic of recovery happens.

The Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program is designed to provide you with the best possible opportunity for recovery.

1

Sign Up For Free

First, you will receive a comprehensive assessment to determine your eligibility, individualized needs, and financial obligations. Treatment recommendations will be made at that time. Additionally, you will be asked to sign a “Consent to Participate” form.
2

Meet Your Case Manager

You will then be referred to the MAT Case Manager who will admit you into the program and follow your case throughout your time with us. Your Case Manager will work with you to ensure all requirements for participation have been met.
3

Meet Your Medical Team

Once approved, you will meet with our medical team to determine your course of medication. They will review your course, dosage, contraindications, and other information at that time.
4

Begin Your Journey

You’ll then begin meeting with your assigned counselor and peer recovery coach. Attending your therapy sessions make a difference in how successful you are. Your coach is there to walk alongside you to help navigate the ups and downs of recovery.

The process is simple and straightforward and should take about 7 to 14 days depending on your individual situation.
